    Hi

We have a shared calendar in public folder on Exchange 2007 as part of SBS 2008. Problem is that same appointments appear in different colours between version of OL; 2010, 2007, 2003 etc. For example if an appointment is grey on OL 2010 then the same appointment appears yellow in OL 2007. This causes considerable confusion among staff as they can not bank on appointment colours to determine the importance of an appointment. What is the issue here and is it possible that all OL versions can see the same colours for appointments across the board?

    Thanks

    Regards

    Hi,

The category is stored with the item in OST/PST, but the color isn't. For public folders, you need to create the same master category list (names and colors) on every computer.
Please check categorize via OWA if this issue still happen, and make sure you create same category!

We also may share your color categories with others by using 3rd party add-ins, like Category Manager.
