edmaisjm --The only way that you can connect Microsoft Project 2007 to Project Server 2010 is if your organization upgraded from Project Server 2007 and placed the Project Server 2010 install in Backwards Compatibility Mode (BCM). From the text of the error message, it appears your system is not running in BCM. Based on this, I believe you will need to upgrade to Microsoft Project Professional 2010 with all due haste. Hope this helps.Dale A. Howard [MVP]

Thanks Dale!
I've installed a fresh version of Project Server 2010, so I'll have to install project professional 2010 too.
Thanks very much!
