Is there a way to add Custom Date formats in MS Project?
e.g. I need to display date as mmm-yyyy (Feb-2012). The available list does not include such a format.
Regards,
Manoj

It is not possible to apply a customized date display format to Project in application level.
We can display date values of any field in another custom field using a formula. For example, the following formula in Text1 field displays Start dates in mmm-yyyy format: Format( [Start], "mmm-yyyy")
Regards.

Technically date formats can be changed, but only by changing the date format under Windows' control panel and regional settings. Since you can't anticipate what other PC's settings will be, Project User's suggestion of using a custom Text field is the better option.Rod Gill
