    1. display autofilter
    2. insert ""summary" column
    3. select "summary"="No" (It doesn't work and all tasks remain on screen including summary and non-summary tasks)

    ps. it is the same when applying a customed filter "Summary equals No".

    I don't think it is normal.
    Anyway, how could I filter out only tasks without any child tasks??

    Hi Winson,

    default option for filters is "Show related summary rows". You can verify that if you click on your filter symbol on the summary column -> Filters -> Custom …. -> Save …. There you can see that "Show related summary rows" is activated.
    If you create a custom filter you can deactivate this option.
