Friday, February 26, 2010 4:37 PMAnswerer Project Professional 2010 can only connect to Project Server 2010. However - Project Professional 2007 can connect to Project Server 2010 when Compatibility Mode is enabled on the server after upgrade from Project Server 2007. This mode allows Project Professional 2007 clients AND Project Professional 2010 clients to connect to the server and limits the 2010 feature that could be used - like manually scheduled tasks, for example. All rich new 2010 functionality – like Demand Management, Portfolio Strategy, Business Intelligence, and Online Project Editing are fully functional for all users.
