Alternate languages are not supported on sites with customized CSS files.

After a successful database attach migration, I'm trying to enable the MUI. I can enable it on all the subsites in my main site collection and in other site collections except the root site. I don't recall having any customized CSS files. How do I find and remove those unsupported customizations? I'm using the plain SharePoint 2010 upgraded visual interface now.
Thank you.

Hi community
In the 'German' sub site I am working on, I can see _Styles/corev4.css in SharePoint Designer. What are the side effects of deleting this entire folder + file?
Regards

Hi
As everything with sp nothing is ever as it seems. Turns out this site is based on the Meeting workspace template so we need another approach.
