Examples of accessible sites
- There would be benefits for us all (I think) if we could make a list of SharePoint sites that are accessible, sites we could show clients that don't believe that this can be done with SharePoint.
Lets help eachother and make a list!

- Just recently we have delivered two accessible sites in SharePoint 2007. Unfortunately the editors, working with the websites, have input inaccessible content. This proves that accessibility isn't a one-time challenge and maintaining an accessible web site is the biggest challenge.
- I would certainly be interested in this as well. As I go through SharePoint 2007 sites out there, I immediately check to see how well they're built.
One of the sites I've looked at is http://www.amhb.ab.ca/Pages/default.aspx and may be an example of what Waldek might be talking about. I found that some of the initial layout to be more accessible, but then it appears later content added in web parts in the middle of the page that certainly are not.
I'll post any more examples I find. - The sites I was talking about are http://www.surfnet.nl and http://www.oasen.nl. In both cases we have provided accessible framework which hasn't been benefit of by the editors.

This showcase definitely has 300+ sharepoint sites.
- While the wssdemo set of sites is very good, it is NOT a set of accessible sites.
Please stick to the topic in this forum when you reply. - To be fair, the WSSDemo site does have a column for whether the site is Accessible or not. Though I love the site, I'm not sure the criteria for whether a site gets marked as accessible or not is clearly defined (I think he is just checking to see if they have a font size control):

Of course this does depend on your own view of accessible, there are a lot of considerations around accessibility and very few sites tick all the boxes.
