Windows SharePoint Services - Create new document error

Hi All,
I am using Windows SharePoint Services and have created Content Type called "New Document". Below error indicates when I attempted to create new document. Please let me know if you need additional information. Thank You!

Hi,
Thanks for your reply but my New Document is in word. My work around was to either log off or restart my laptop.
