I believe you need to check out Alternate Access mappings in the operations part of Central Administration

Sadly, changing the alternate access mappings will not address this issue.

The issue is more internal to the domain in that if one changes the domain name, the service accounts that are registered to SharePoint for the Administration, Shared Service Provider, and and Site Collections will all be invalid.

I am looking for more comprehensive instructions that would be along the lines of what one might do if one moved a SharePoint site to another domain.

    Hi Barton,

Did you rename the Domain name?

Can you share with me the impact of Domain name change and the resolution steps?

    Thanks
