Error while publishing a page
- Hi,
We have a feature which creates a publishing page layout template. When we try to create a page based on this template and click on publish button it is giving the error "The page contains content or formatting that is not valid".
Then just to check whether publish functionality is working proper or not we have tried creating a page based on welcome page template which is by default available in sharepoint. There also it is giving the same error as described above.

I am afraid that I cannot reproduce your issue. Creating a page based on default welcome page template works fine on my test.
Thus, I think this issue might be related to your custom feature.Do you have any validation control in your custom page layout?
