Access denied after importin sharepoint subsite
Access denied after importin sharepoint subsite
Hi,
i moved a subsite in sharepoint site from one domain to other domain that is from Staging to Production
using stsadm import & export command .
after importing that subsite to production when trying to access its throwing Access Denied error.
appreciating your inputs.

- You'll probably want to migrate your user accounts that were used on the source domain using stsadm...
stsadm -o migrateuser -oldlogin <oldlogin> -newlogin <newlogin> (source: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262141.aspx)
Additionally you'll want to ensure that your site collection administrator is the owner of the site...
stsadm -o siteowner -url <url> -ownerlogin <login> (source: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc288448.aspx)
Additionally once you've done that, you'll want to inherit permissions from the site above.
