    Hi,

I have one issue to resolve. The problem is clear but i am not getting a way to resolve the issue.

There is a "Issue Tracking list" in subsite, should migrate/import the same from one site collection to another site collection.

The ways I tried are :

    1. Tried to taken the site template, but for Issue Tracking list can't create the .stp file by including content.

    2. Tried to take the export of the Subsite the list is. I have Full Control permissions to the Site collection, but I am unable to take.

    Waiting for your reply asap.

    Hi Selvaraj79,

The reason why you couldn't create a .stp is probably beacuase the size of the site is large.
How did you try to export the subsite? Did you use SharePoint designer.
Do you want only the list to be exported / the complete site.

Possible option for export / import:
    1) Create Site Template (.stp) / List template [ Size restrictions apply]
    2) Use content deployment Jobs and Paths [ Present in the Central Admin]
    3) Use MOSS API (SPExport / SPImport]
    4) Use STSADM commands -o export / import
    5) Use SharePoint Designer

    Hope this helps
