Discussion Board - How to get last posted by info and first 50 characters of message posted

We have a discussion board under its own site collection. We want to display the last three postings on another site collection, so we are using the CQWP to get that info displayed. My question is, how can we display the person's name that posted the last reply to that subject and how can we get to the actual text that person entered in his/her reply?

We are able to display the title of the subject, the number of replies but we are strugling to get the 'Editor' and 'Body' of the last entry to display... I guess we need to get the internal name for these fields but we are having difficulty finding that. Any help is appreciated.

Yes you would need to get the internal name of these fields in order to display them. And in order to do that, you would to export your CQWP, edit the web part markup and import the web part back.
