There is not direct link between SharePoint and Exchange.   In the same domain they pickup the same information from Active Directory.

You may be better looking at how you can do some form of federation between the domains,   or you could look at developing a solution that would use the Exchange Webservices to communicate with the exchange objects.

What about if they are in the same domain, is there a way to make changes to the echange contact list through SharePoint.

    Thanks,

    Alejandro,

Without custom code, it's not possible to have SharePoint update Exchange contact information.

SharePoint merely does a one way pull from Active Directory if that's the authentication provider in use with the SharePoint implementation.

There are custom solutions that are available that will allow for Active Directory updates (which will therefore impact the Exchange data) through a web part presented in a SharePoint platform.

    Cheers,
    Dan
