Adelaide SharePoint User Group February Newsletter
We are pleased to present the February Edition of the Adelaide SharePoint User Groups Newsletter.
While SharePoint Best Practices Conference 2009 got underway on the 2nd, SharePoint Conference 2009 was announced today!
These 2 Conferences are a great resource for anyone who is involved with SharePoint, from business users to the IT Pro’s, Developers and C-Level management! Unfortunately this year I was unable to get to the SharePoint Best Practices Conference but I will be working though the channels to ensure we get the content here in Adelaide afterwards.
Also don’t forget if you’re looking at taking exams for MCPD, MCITP or MCTS you are eligible for a 10% discount and a free second re-take of the exam. To claim this offer, simply navigate to http://www.learnandcertify.com/ in your browser of choice and click on “Get my exam offer voucher”.
When promoted for the “MVP Certification Promotion Code,” please enter AU40E21E and you will be sent a voucher to use in a Prometric exam centre of your choice. More information can be found here.
If enough people are interested in having an Instructor Lead Hands on Lab to help with the exams, please email me an expression of interest. If we get enough people I may be able to organise something.
Please feel free to pass this information onto anyone you know who may be interested in taking an exam.
Finally, Next month’s meeting will be on March 30th at the same location. We have teamed up with the Adelaide Small Business Server User Group and have Jeff Alexander of Microsoft speaking at the event on “Windows Server 2008 R2 – Technical Overview” and “Windows 7 – An Update for IT Pro’s”. Early Bird registration will be announced shortly. Keep a look out in your inbox over the next few days! Early Bird registration can be filled out here.
