How to deploy SharePoint Designer customizations?
I have some general quesitons about SharePoint Designer and deployment in a staging enviroment.
I have an enviroment like this:- Developement farm
- Test farm
- Production farm
In my developement farm I do some customization on my site with SharePoint Designer. Lets say that I do some customization on an EditForm.aspx
page for a SharePoint list.
How do I deploy this customization to my Test farm?
Another scenario.....when the customization has been deployed to the test server, the customer will do some extra customization on the site (not with SharePoint Designer) like creating views and lists. At the same time I do some further customization on the same site with SharePoint Designer.
How do i deploy these customizations to the test farm without overwritting the customers customization on the test farm?
Is SharePoint Designer meant to be used directly on the production site or can it somehow be used in my three stage enviroment?
I hope someone can provide me with some best practice.
By the way, I use SharePoint 2007 and FinalBuilder.

The conclusion is:
Use SPD to customize things, copy the code from SPD to a feature package in Visual Studio and deploy the feature.
