Questionchanging standard Pages library RSS feed

    Hi everyone
    Using MOSS 2007...
When i use the RSS feed of a Pages Library that holds articles the RSS feed title element show the filename instead of the title of the article.
Within the documentlibrary settings page i can change the RSS settings og the feed, where I can choose the fields to be included in the feed, which are then showed in the RSS feed below the feed element title. But the title however is still the filename and not the article title.

Typically when you create a new article (news) you give a title ex. "This is my new article" and the filename of the article is automatically suggested as being thisismynewarticle.aspx (by removing spaces (end any eventual illegal charactors) from the title)

How do I change the standard RSS feed to show the title instead of the filename when viewing RSS feed from af Pages library?
If there isn't any way to customize the standard RSS feed an option could also be to combine the standard RSS feed with an XSLT stylesheet to switch the manually selected title field with the RSS element title leaving the rest of the feed as it is. So if anyone know how this can be done with XSL this could also be an option.

    Thanks

    Hi Søren Bjerre,

You can go to “Document Library settings à “RSS Settings”à “Document Options” and click “Yes” on the “Link RSS items directly to their files”. Then the title of the item will be displayed on the RSS feed page.

    Hope this helps.
