I keep getting the following error and do not know how to solve it. Can someone offer any advice on how I can use SharePoint Designer to open the SharePoint website on our server?

"The folder may be located in an unavailable location, protected with a password, or the filename contain illegal characters"

We have SharePoint set up using forms authentication.

Make sure you have all the appropriate permissions for the site.

    i.e. Full Control

Sometimes without Admin Rights this happens. It is a safe assumption that you do not have them if your seeing that message.

Thanks...I'll try that and let you know. I'm sure there are still many places within SharePoint where I am not the admin yet :)
