Active Users Count in WSS 3.0

Hi, I am handling a WSS 3.0 farm which have almost 50 top level sites, i want to gather a report of active users count for all sites on monthly bases,
Can you please let me know that how can i gather the above information...

Hi,
To get this information you need to query UserInfo table of all content DBs and get IsActiveUser field as 1.
Then export it into excel file and use it accordingly
