prevent moss from showing popup when user clicks pdfHi

If a user clicks the pdf icon a popup is shpwn, asking the user if he wants to read or edit the file. I would like ot get rid of this popup. I know I can disable the cleint intergation, but i need things like edit in datasheet. Strange thing is that is customer has also a moss 2007 running on windows 2003 (the popup shows up on windows 2008 moss sp2) with (as far as I can see the same config) which doesn not show the popup. Enable client integration is on both farms enabled.

SanderTue, 30 Jun 2009 05:27:54 Z2009-06-30T05:27:54Zhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointgeneral/thread/36b69c0f-58cd-41a5-80e1-4f24566330dd#b68d9aa1-b917-443d-8957-bca9e5faad92http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointgeneral/thread/36b69c0f-58cd-41a5-80e1-4f24566330dd#b68d9aa1-b917-443d-8957-bca9e5faad92Dan Usherhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Dan%20Usherprevent moss from showing popup when user clicks pdfAdobe PDF files are not natively known by SharePoint, therefore it treats it like any other object stored within SharePoint and askes the client operating system what it would like to do with the object.
http://www.spdan.comSat, 04 Jul 2009 03:52:06 Z2009-07-04T03:52:06Zhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointgeneral/thread/36b69c0f-58cd-41a5-80e1-4f24566330dd#65f10959-c833-4569-86e2-103bb2ed19fdhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointgeneral/thread/36b69c0f-58cd-41a5-80e1-4f24566330dd#65f10959-c833-4569-86e2-103bb2ed19fdSaaffyhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Saaffyprevent moss from showing popup when user clicks pdfHi Dan,

yeah I know that but the strange thing is that the client config is okay. I know this because the problem is in our PRODCUTION environment but we als have a TEST farm (all vmware) and here I do not have the problem. So same client and as far as I can see (but I will probably be wrong somewhere) I configured the farms exactly the same (fi client integration enabled). So it mus be a server setting. Which settings interfere?

SanderSat, 04 Jul 2009 05:44:08 Z2009-07-04T05:44:08Z
