Hello,

Does anyone know how I can remove the error page showing

This Page has been modified since you opened it. You must open the page again.

Refresh page.

Troubleshoot issues with Windows SharePoint Services.

When I created a page, it loaded without this page. However, when I made some changes to the page and saved it, I started getting this error.

I renamed the file but the error message persists.

If anyone know some tricks as to how to remove this message, I would really appreciate it.

Go to the Pages library. (pages/forms/allitems.aspx)

Hover and Click the page in question and choose Edit Properties. If you can get to this page you might be able to determine what the issue is.

Let me know what you find.

It sounds like you either have a failed installation, or a failed feature deployment (are you doing development), or you retracted a feature that is still in use by an object on the site.

I'll check that GUID agains a standard installation and see if I can point you in the right direction.

Our company is using SharePoint Server 2007 and users often get this error after filling out a custom list entry form, discussion board, or other types of objects that need to be filled out. They fill in the fields and click Ok, get this error and there changes are NOT saved. They often try and try till it eventually works. As an administreator we often cannot duplicate the issue. One person can fill out a form just fine and submit and the next gets this error several times before they are finally able to submit it. Very annoying. Any ideas why this might be happening intermittently and not for all users and not on all lists?
