Search box in Sharepoint 2007

Hi,

I am using MOSS 2007. When i enter any keyword in the default search box button on the top right corner, it doesnt search anything present on the site. although i can see that document available ...it is not giving any search results.

How i do fix this?

Have you configured your search, defined content sources, start full crawl? Here you have additional information http://grounding.co.za/blogs/neil/archive/2008/08/20/basic-steps-on-implementing-quot-search-quot-in-sharepoint.aspx
If your search is configured check in the crawl log how many items are indexed, errors, warnings
