Data Connection Library Bug?
We created a UDC file via InfoPath according to instruction, that connects to a Web Service of a password protected database. When we preview the form from the InfoPath editor it properly prompts for username and password and accesses the foreign database. However, once we upload the form to a data connection library in sharepoint 2007, and then create a form using this Data Connection Library item for our data connection the infopath form opens but prompt the error that it cannot make the data connection and will load without the data:
"The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: GetSiteCounts
InfoPath cannot run the specified query.
Access is denied."One would think that it would request the username and password of the database it is trying to connect to, as the form does so in "Preview" mode.
