Locked Error installing WCF Data Services as a prerequisite for SharePoint 2013

    I am trying to install SP 2013 on Windows Server 2008 R2. I installed all of the prerequisites from the installation package but it also asked me for AppFabric CU 1 and WCF Data Services.

    I was able to download and install the first one but when I try to install the WCF Data Services I get the following error:

    Any idea what it is and how to get past this to continue to SP 2013 installation?

      I hit this same problem when installing the prerequisites from a server that doesn't have Internet access and instead install from a network share or local drive.  The problem is that the server is unable to connect to Microsoft and download an updated CA list.  See this MSDN Blog for additional info.

      To resolve, follow the link and go to the MS Update Catalog, do a search for Root Certificate and download the 2008 Server Root Cert Update.  This should allow the install to complete.

          Hi,

          I am also facing a same problem. Please let me know the certificate exact name and I unable to get it from catalog center.
