index exchange 2007 public folders
How can we configure Sharepoint 2007 sp1 to index Exchange 2007 sp1 public folders? What will the user see when clicking on a crawl result? The /public URL as the content source is not working.
Has anyone done this successfully?
Is there a guide? Do we need a mapi profile, etc.?

Hi amacdougall,
Steve Smith, MVP wrote a tutorial about How to configure a content Source to crawl Exchange 2003 public folders in Moss2007, and the main steps do not change a lot in configuration in Exchange 2007.
The only thing you need to notice is that in Exchange 2007, Public folders cannot be accessed via http(s)://exchangeserver/public/folder/subfolder directly, it would redirect to http(s)://exchangeserver/owa/.
I do not find any guide in the Internet, so I write one in my blog. Hope it helps.
