how to configure search for sub-site?

Monday, April 23, 2012 5:22 PMHello,
Could you tell me how to configure search for sub-site?
I have top level site collection: http://intranet.mycompany.com
And I have a sub-site: http://intranet.mycompany.com/Global/crystal/
When I try to search information on this sub site I receive: "No results matching your search were found."
Content source is configured for top level site collection http://intranet.mycompany.com.
Also I have scope where sub-site is included, but Item Count near this sub site is 0.
Last full crawl was 2 days ago, but Item Count is 0.
Since full crawl takes near 8 hours and affect server performance I want to configure separate search for this sub-site.
I tried to create new Content Source:
Content Source Type: Web Sites
Start Address: http://intranet.mycompany.com/Global/crystal/
All other settings are default.
When I started full crawl for this Content Source, I noticed, that it checked other sub-sites.
Could you tell me how to configure search to crawl only specific sub site?
Thank in advance.

Did you figure this out?
I have the same issue - set the source url to the subsite, yet it crawls the whole site collection!

You solution is needed if I want to customize the search scope for sub site. But I want to configure separate Content sources which will work only for one sub site.
