AnswerHow to make 'Indexed' User Profile Property searchable but no hyperlink in the Profile

    Hi All.

I have a User Profile property I want to surface in my search results, so I have enabled 'Indexed' in the User Profile properties. I can now search and return results for the property in my search web parts. So far so good. But I'm finding since I have indexed this property it is appearing in the User profile with a hyperlink on it, promoting searching of this property. There are cases when this doesn't make sense - like a phone number. There is only one phone number so why would the user want to search by it.

Is there a way to promote the User profile property to the Metadata properties but also not have it hyperlinked in the user profile pages? If I turned 'indexed' off the search results web parts complain that the property doesn't exist.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Anthony
