I'm having some access permission issues with Sharepoint 2007 apparently. I created a new blog, set up unique permissions to it, giving myself as admin full access, my domain account approve permissions, and one other person's domain account approve permissions. Both the other person and I can approve posts, but neither of us can approve comments - when we click the "manage comments" link, there is no "approve/reject" option associated withe each comment the way there is with posts to the blog. I've tried removing and re-adding permissions, giving my domain account full access - doesn't matter - even the administrators account does not show the option to approve/reject. What is going on here??? It's almost like the comments have their own set of permissions that I can't access/change - is there something I'm missing here?

    Hi,

If you want to the “approve/reject” option in the Comments, you should enable Content approval in the list: Go to Manage Comments>Settings>List Settings>Versioning Settings>In the Content Approval section, under Require content approval for submitted items? Click Yes.

    Hope it helps.
