I would like to confirm that migrating from SBS2003 into Server 2008 non SBS we will be challenged with a 7day grace period in which to perform this migration?

    Hi,

There will be no grace period as long as the SBS server keeps the FSMO roles you can add as many servers as you like and migrate everything to other servers without any problem.

Only when you move the FSMO roles the SBS server isn't going to like that so that's the last step and you should demote the SBS server and remove it from your network.

    Hi,

I agree with ronnypot, he has provided the right suggestions to the question. In addition, I suggest we could refer to the following article for details about how to migrate SBS 2003 to Windows Server 2008.
