    I am trying to create a network printer session from an MS SBS 2011 Server. Signed on as the Administrator, when I try to create a printer port using a known IP address on a functioning network printer, I get the MS turn down message that says i do not have permission to carry out this mission. Lil' Help?

    Do you have a screen shot, or can you give a step by step on what you are doing?

    Have you tried these steps and followed the kb articles as mentioned below

    Add the Network Printer as a Local Printer
    =========================
    1. Click “Start”, “Control Panel”, “Hardware” and “Add a printer”.
    2. Click “Add a printer”.
    3. Choose “Add a local printer” and click on “Create a new port”.
    4. Select “Local Port” and click “Next”.
    5. Type in the
    \\ComputerName\PrinterName for the Port name.

    Example: If the computer you wish to connect to is named ComputerA and the printer is called PrinterA then the path would be
    \\ComputerA\PrinterA
