I am trying to install the migration tool on the source server. When I run the DVD as instructed, (sbs.msi in the setup folder) I get the message "This installation package is not supported by this processor type"
If I try to run SBSSetup.exe from the \Setup\Windows_Small_Business_Server\bin folder, I get the message "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect"
Help!

do you get the first screenshot as here http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2011/01/20/introducing-the-sbs-2011-migration-preparation-tool.aspx
after inserting the DVD?
If yes , what happens when you click "Install the migration preparation tool" link?

Hi
Thanks for your reply. I must have had a corrupt copy of the DVD. I have used the original and it works fine to start with. But now I have encountered a further problem. I have run the migration tool and, on scanning the source server for problems, it reports 2 problems as follows:
"Log on as a batch job" user rights assignment is not correct
User accounts are not trusted for delegation.
I have carried out changes in the Group Policy Object editor and run the force update command at the command prompt. The server has also been restarted but the two problems remain as before. I have available a screen dump of the Group Policy Obnject editor screen to show the settings comply with the settings advised in the on-line Server Migration documentation and can submit the migration log files if these can be attached or emailed somehow.
Regards
Colin
