remote web access can't be found

I was using the remote web access to connect to the NAS from home on Monday. The first time I tried it , I got a message to the effect that it couldn’t be found. I went to the office, restarted the NAS, and it worked fine. I was able to use it all night via the remote web access. However, the next day, I had the same problem: can’t be found. It appears that it’s “disconnecting” itself or something. How would I resolves this?

Is a restart of the server the key to resolving it so far, anything else you have tried that has also worked?
Are you on a dynamic IP with your internet connection?

It seems only restarting the server solves this.
Yes, I'm on a dynamic IP with the internet connection.

nope. the public ip seems to change when we reboot the router only. since that didn't happen the ip address should be the same and I checked it is still the same.
