Backup windows sbs 2011 to home from office
-
Monday, November 19, 2012 1:52 AMI have a network that consist of Microsoft small business server 2008 and 2011 sever. I need to backup this network to an offsite storage. I was wanting to back this up to my house from the office but have not been able to find a good way to accomplish this. Does anyone have some ideas on how to accomplish this? Currently I am backing up to an external hard drive using Windows Backup but want to get other software to do this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ken:
If you have three external drives and rotate them, you will always have one at your house. With SBS 2008 all the drives are current, meaning that nothing is missed when you change drives. So that is my first recommendation, as it satisfies your requirement that there be a backup at your house.
However, there is another way. Symform offers a cloud backup that can be simultaneously downloaded to the house. If you search for, and contact Symform, they can refer you to a contact.
