hi all,
im installing sbs 2011 essentials and my customer would like to make use of redirected folders.
do I need to install the windows 7 pro pack? or not? Is there a way out of the box with sbs 2011 essentials to wizardise redirected folders or do I need to use GPO?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

from what I can see I can create redirected folders using the dashboard, is this correct?
Also, is the dashboard installed by default? or do I need to install the dashboard as an add in of some kind?
Thanks

Hi,
Yes indeed, you have to install Windows 7 Professional Pack but keep in mind that if you have Windows 8 workstations already connected or plan to connect to your SBS 2011 Essentials server, refer to the "Quick Fix" from Robert Pearman entitled "Quick Fix : Update SBS2011 Essentials Windows 7 Pro Pack for Windows 8";
