    Hi All,

    I created a Named Calculation called FullName (in Customer table) following this page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms167487(v=sql.100).aspx

    After it is created, I explored the data and can see it displayed nicely in the window.  I also dragged it to the Customer attributes window.  Then I deployed the solution.

    But when I clicked on the Hierarchy drop down box in the Browser tab, FullName is not in there.  What else do I need to do to have it appears in the box?

    After adding the named calculation in dsv, go to the customer dimension. In the dimension attribute list drag the fullname named calculation from the source list in the right. Deploy and process the cube. Now go to the dimension and then the browser, in the hierarchy selection select the named calculation fullname, you would find it.

    Hi Yogish,

    Thank you for your help.  I did what you have suggested several times, but it did not work.  I also refreshed the browser.  I also switched the order of the process and it still did not show up.  Then I closed the project and reopened it again.  This time I see it there!  

    Do you know why this happened?  Why the refresh did not do the trick?

    You need to  click on reconnect to see the latest changes. Once any changes done to the cube, in the dimension browser tab if you reconnect to the analysis service by clicking reconnect that is next to refresh you would be able to see the changes.
