    Hi All,

I have created a SQL Server 2008 R2 database by running some create scripts.

I've also created two tables manually within SQL Server Management Studio.

In BIDS, I've created a Datasource view to this database with a user that is the db_owner of the database.

However, when attempt to create a Data Source View, and I select to Add/Remove Tables, I can only see the two I created manually.

Any ideas why I can't see them all??

    Thanks!

What login is listed as the owner of the tables you created by executing the script?

This is more than likely a permissions issue.

Script out the tables you created manually and compare the scripts.

    Hello Mr. Madders,

The User account which you specified in the data source connection wont get used until the cube processing has been started. When you tried to alter the DSV from BIDS, it will take the user account, which you logged into the system.

    Thank you!!

    Regards,

    Pradeep.
