Unanswered linked server to Sybase DB not working consistently in Windows 7

    Created linked server to Sybase ASA 9.0 using Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers, the connection works fine on one of the Windows 7 machines, but not on other Windows 7 machines in the office.

    Those machines are all 64 bit machines, we are using SQL Server 32 bit, all connections are located on the local computers. Exactly the same connections and configurations on all machines.

    Please anyone know what might be causing the inconsistency? Thanks!

    could you please share the content of below keys from working and non working system.

    regkey export ==> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ODBC

    msinfo32 ==> output.

    MCTS/MCITP (SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2005 BI)
