Unanswered Decision Trees using Nvidia CUDA

    Hello -

    We're currently using decision tree data mining structures in Analysis Services.  There are more and more studies popping up were developers are using the Nvidia CUDU APIs to process decision trees using Nvidia GPUs.  To frame the implications, many of these studies claim 100x speed increases.

    Is anyone aware of a way to integrate the CUDA APIs into decision tree modeling built in SQL Analysis Services?  I can't find any reference to native support for this in 2012, so we're assuming this will be either a roll-your-own or a 3rd party assembly purchase. We'd prefer the 3rd party purchase if available, but would consider rolling our own if no 3rd party tools are available.

    Has anyone seen anything on this topic? Given the growing popularity in CUDA development, we were really hoping for something native in SQL 2012.
