2.are there any legal requirements that might limit the use of data mining at a customs agency

3.what questions the business analysts and managers of the customs agency would like to have addressed by the data mining using this data warehouse

Hello prince (or should I say "your majesty"? :) )

I think your question is very broad to get useful answers. Can you tell us a little more about your custom agency and why you are asking these questions? Are you trying to get a job in that area? Do you already work in the area and want to adopt data mining?

Data mining can be used to make almost any business process more efficient. Your goal is to figure out what processes are the most critical for the business and improve those first.

For example, my company works in a healthcare area. For some of our customers, the most critical business problem is to predict how many patients they are going to have on a given day, for others, it is to predict who is going to be re-admitted into the hospital, for third, it is to find items that are missing from an insurance claim. These problems are very different and they are not important for every hospital.
