Why am i getting this following error when i try to connect to database engine, with two instances installed .
Can anybody help me to fix this issue.

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 2)

Possibly the TCP protocol is not Enabled on the instance and/or SQL Server Broswer is not running.
This type of question probably should go in the Setup/Configuration Forum.
