PowerPivot for Excel 2010 freezing all the time

I thought this would e a common issue but perhaps it's not.
I find Powerpivot/Excel tends to freeze up when I switch to using another application then switch back.
It's making me think PowerPivot for 2010 is rather buggy?

Sorry to hear that you are struggling so much with your introduction to PowerPivot. The community may be able to help you along if you can you share some system specs: OS, RAM, 64bit? Also Excel version, PowerPivot version.
