    Hi, When trying to save or open an existing .xlsx workbook containing some powerpivot data + pivot tables / charts the following exception occurs:

    Either the user, NETWORK\MyNetworkID, does not have access to the MS_90a bla bla bla database, or the database does not exist.

    How can I resolve this issue? I have installed:

    Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Edition (en_office_professional_plus_2010_x86_515486.exe)

    and downloaded and installed the latest version of powerpivot from powerpivot.com.

    please help!

    I also have a Virtualbox installation of Windows with the following.

    Office 2010 BETA

    Latest PowerPivot download also from PowerPivot.com

    and it works fine.

    Why does it not work with the first release of office 2010??????

    What operating system?

    In Windows 7 you have to run everything as administrator, even IE 8.0.

    What kind of database are you accessing?

    mysorian

    Note: I am the only user, the computer owner admin.

    MY OS is Windows 7 Ultimate.

     

    I recently installed Microsoft Office Home and Business(English) in addition to the Office 2010 Beta and the Excel program in the new install  showed the Powerpivot menu item as it did in the beta.

    In the Microsoft Analysis Services folder do you have a folder AS Excel Client . In the subfolder of As Excel Client do you have six modeler related dlls ?
