DAX empty dates

Hi,
Recently I had some trouble comparing empty dates, wich in sql server are 1/1/
1753 . Seems like if I do a YEAR([mydate])=1753... it doesnt work properly. Any ideas?

The date type in DAX does not support dates before 1900.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg413463.aspxFor practical reasons, you may want to consider that it only supports dates past the 1st of March 1900.
