Friday, February 17, 2012 10:17 PMPowerPivot for SQL 2012 - We have a URL in a column - points to an image file, so we want to click on that to launch the URL from a PowerPivot table. The string with the http URL correctly shows up in one of the columns in a PowerPivot table, but I don't see a way to click on it to launch the URL. I was expecting it to behave as in a regular Excel sheet where you can click on a http URL string in a cell to launch the URL.

Currently, this feature is available in Excel workbook, in PowerPivot there is no such kind of feature, however here I still would recommend you to submit a feedback to Microsoft Connect at this link at this link https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/Feedback This connect site is a connection point between you and Microsoft. Your feedback enables Microsoft to make software and services the best that they can be, Microsoft might consider to add this feature in the following release after official confirmation.
