I have created a report that uses the Column Visibility setting to only display the column if the Render Format is either CSV or ATOM.   I have tried setting the ConsumeContainerWhitespace property to eliminate the white space shown to the right of the visible columns when I view the report on-line.  This property appears to have no effect on the report.  The report is very tight on realistate, and must export to PDF, CSV, and ATOM formats,

Interestingly, when I delete the header section of the report, everything works as expected.   My report header consists of two small textboxes.

    I am using windows 7 with IE8.

    Hi Bipower,

We cannot reproduce the issue. In Reporting Services, when we render a report that had extra white space on the report body when viewed on the report design surface, the trailing white space after the last report item on the page is preserved. To remove the white space, set the report property ConsumeContainerWhitespace to true.

In you reports, the extra white space removed when you delete the header of the report, this may be caused the special structure of your report. If the issue persists, please elaborate the structure of your report, if possible provide some screenshots with some sample data to us, so that we can make further analysis.
