Open BIDS and Open Project, then navigate to the .rdl and try open it (or solution that contains this .rdl)Best Regards, Uri Dimant SQL Server MVP http://dimantdatabasesolutions.blogspot.com/ http://sqlblog.com/blogs/uri_dimant/

Hi,
In the "Solution Explorer" window, right-click on the original report and select "Exclude From Project" option. Then, right-click on the "Report" folder and point to "Add"-> "Existing Item" to add the report to the project.
