In SSRS 2008 R2, when I export a report to Excel, subtotal rows are added. Is there a way to have the subtotal rows removed from the export? I already updated the server to Service Pack 2 and installed the latest Hotfixes. The server is currently at 10.50.4276. I have attached an exmaple of the subtotal issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Also I did run

FIX: An Excel worksheet has unexpected automatic subtotals when you export a SSRS 2008 R2 report that uses the visibility toggle feature to an Excel workbook

    Article ID: 2462084

I still have the same issue after wards.

    Hi Bigboss,

When exporting to Microsoft EXCEL, excel will add an extra row for each group, if we use the “=Sun(fields!column.value)” in the details row, then the extra row will display the total of this group, if we use the fields!column.value in the details row, then the extra row will display the first value of this group.

    Hope this helps.
