Group headers not repeating on new page.

I am working in SSRS 2008R2.

my report runs ideally with one exception. If there is only one detail row, or only group footers on the page, the following group does not display the appropriate header information in the report header.

this is only happening in one group within the report, and this particular group has multiple pages of detail, with one straggler.

i have tried to resolve this issue byforciing the group headers to repeat on each page, however the headers haven't repeated as expected. i set the properties on the appropriate static rows to Keep Together, After, and Repeat On Each Page.

I could probably force the report to work by changing the size of the rows, but that does not solve the underlying issue.

i added fill color to the group assigneing the page break and it shows that the page break is being ignored in this instance. I believe that I can resolve the header issue by simply getting the page break to work. If only it were that simple.

Has anyone discovered a workaround to this issue?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

When use the Advanced mode of the Row Groups pane for tablix members, is there “(Static)” row in the tablix member list? A tablix member that includes parentheses () indicates that there is no corresponding group header. To repeat or freeze column headings, please try to select the top Static tablix member, and set properties in the Properties pane.
