Hi,
SSIS tutorial; - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb522499(v=SQL.100).aspx
As always I recommend the following book; - MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-448): Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance (Self-Paced Training Kits) chapter 1 to 4 for further tutorials which cover a good introduction to the basics. I am also interested to find out if anyone knows of the best way of converting Informatica to SSIS since I have noticed a number of contracts advertised where the client is trying to do this very thing.
Kind Regards,
Kieran.

I don't know and don't think there is an easy approach to convert ETL to SSIS. The only approach is we need to apply same business logic over there.
msdn it self is a good tutorial for SSIS. I can suggest below links they will give answers for your approach.
