SQL 2008 installation error

I am not a computer geek, I cannot manage to install this SQL thing. everytime I tried all I got is this:
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Setup
------------------------------
The following error has occurred:
Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Components\DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\E983AC76957E181499AFDCB83658F31B. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

Hello,
Please try the following procedure using subinacl tool:

This tool was created for Windows Server 2003 but it also works on Windows Server 2008.
